Circle Magazine #102

$6.00 - Circle Magazine #102 - Circle Magazine is devoted to celebrating Nature, Spirit, and Magic.

New Witch #17

$6.00 - New Witch #17 - During this time of year our deities are especially imminent. We see the Green Man in the leafing trees; we can smell the Goddess perfume in the budding flowers. Persephone has risen from her underworld prison cum kingdom and the Oak King is seated once again on his throne. Its a time when the hopes that carried us through the long winter are rewarded. Just as everyone is Irish on St. Paddy's Day, a fine Beltane morning can leave the most closed-minded muggle feeling positively witchy. At Beltane, our thoughts often turn to love or, at the very least, to mutually gratifying physical encounters. If you want to celebrate the season by exploring a little bit of sexual magic, you've come to the right place. The dynamic duo of Lupa and Taylor Ellwood have given us a tantalizing taste of the exotic with their article on kink magic; read it amongst yourselves or invite a special friend (or several) to share the experience. Should you want something afterward to commemorate the occasion, Sheela Ardrians latest column offers some helpful pointers on erotic body modifications. This is a season when promises are fulfilled and few newcomers are quite as promising as the multitalented Regan High Priestess. Michael Night Sky's conversation with the scintillating singer, harpist, composer, and producer Regan High Priestess (who can now add cover model to her already impressive resum) gives us lots to think over, and her beautiful portraits (featured in our first-ever color interior pages) provides plenty of luscious images to enjoy as well. Meanwhile, Kohinoor Setora takes us to Europe for a short visit with the performer and Witch Nebelhex, while Natalie Zaman provides an extended guide for a visit to Glastonbury an article which should prove most useful for folks who have been promising themselves a summer pilgrimage. What's that? Something about the currency exchange rate and fear of flying? No worries: if you cant travel across the pond this summer, theres plenty to keep you occupied here in North America. A.C. Fisher Aldaag has provided a comprehensive review of the last years Pagan Spirit Gathering, one of Americas largest and longest-running Pagan festivals, while Bronwen Forbes clues us in to steps to take to enjoy whatever summer festival we choose to attend. We added a list of twenty-six Pagan (and Pagan-friendly) summer festivals for you to choose among for your outdoor revelry. Enjoy your summer!

PanGaia #49

$6.00 - PanGaia #49 - PanGaia #49 is an amazing special issue focusing on Money Magick while also including an insightful interview with Raven Grimassi on Pursuing the Path of the Ancients, as well as all the articles and enteries you have come to know and love. A practitioner and teacher of Witchcraft for over thirty years, Raven Grimassi is an initiate of several Witchcraft traditions and the Directing Elder of the Arician Tradition, a system of Italian Witchcraft. His greatest interest lies in the subjects of Italian and Hereditary Witchcraft, and the works of Charles Leland. Their interview with Raven concentrates on one of his favorite subjects: the history (and future) of the Craft. Their theme of "Money Magick" could hardly be more timely, as they strive not only to cover the subject of money magick in general, but give you information you can really use! Beginning with Lisa McSherry`s "The Alchemy of Abundance: Practical Money Magick", then touching on Pagan Business ("Pagan Business Models 101" and "Metaphysical Marketing for Beginners") then moving into workplace magick ("Workin` for a Livin`) with a sidetrip to the philosophical side with "In Defense of Money Magick" and "Why the Goddess Loves Piggy Banks." Finally, for those of you who want the real scoop on high-powered spellwork and ritual to get the prosperity gods moving *now*, there`s Kenaz Filan`s "Voudou Money Magick for When It Really Counts." Altogether, it`s a veritable money-centric book of shadows, all in one place. Plus the winner of the Pagan Short Fiction Award for 2008 "A Valkyrie Among Jews" and columns on the power of conflict, supporting our elders, money magick for kids, and a roisterous Toe-to-Toe debate on the benefits (or lack thereof) of Pagan Standard Time. This is an 80 page magazine full of insight, wit, and lessons that you will want to read time and time again.

Pentacle #25

$9.50 - Pentacle #25 (from England) - Pentacle The UKs Leading Independent Pagan Magazine - Stonehenge Bluestones, Golden Dawn, Shaman to Showman, Baba Lon, Magical Practice, Aphrodite, Binding Spells

SageWoman 75

$7.50 - SageWoman 75 - In this issue, we delve into those times when we are overwhelmed by events, by emotions, by fate and find ourselves unable to keep actively fighting. When we release control, we allow the transpersonal (the Goddess, if you will) to take over. What happens then? In "Dance of the Wight Goddess" Maria Ede-Weaving visits the crumbling cliffs of the Isle of Wight in search of healing from years family pain and strife; while Tess Dawson dream-journeys the Canaanite Goddess Lady Shapsu in "Chariot of the Sun" and Melodie Bolt finds herself reliving her experience as an ancient priestess in "Visions of Crete." Jerda Smeltzer calls on Durga when she is caught in a (literal) undertow in "Search for the Inner Durga"), Gretchen Treadwell journeys deep into the abyss (and back) in "The Descent" and Dina Peace must find her way after a relationship ends in "Hexagram 58: The Joyous." Goddess loremistress Diana Paxson leads us to the land of the ultimate surrender: the realm of Maman Brigitte, the Haitian Lady of the Dead. There's far more to this Goddess than graveyards and skeletons! We are pleased to report that Grandmother Witch herself, Z Budapest, joins SageWoman in this issue with a new regular column on spirituality and politics "Generation Z", while our regular columnists continue to delve into Goddess-spirit on topics ranging from teaching your children to honor the ancestors to the sovereignty and dignity of becoming a Queen Mum yourself. There`s also a double-handful of book and product reviews, and the bubbling cauldron that is the Rattle. All-in-all, an autumnal cornucopia of Goddess plenty, just in time for Samhain and the early winter season. 96 illustrated pages, edited by Anne Newkirk Niven, released in September 2008.
