Merry Meet!
Pagan Meet and Greet – Potluck, Music, Friends and Fun, Family welcome Saturday, May 31, 3pm until midnight Bring friends, food, kids, musical equipment, etc. Please let everyone you care about know. 
Food, fun, music, food, more music, more food, more fun, nice people, readings or whatever people feel like, more fun, outdoor grill if weather permits, herb garden, papyrus making, evening meditation. Bring the kids, some food to share, your music, dress up "witchy", and have a fun time!The location is: 360 Double Eagle Drive, Waldport, OR 97394. Contact Anja at 541-563-7991 if ya gots questions.  Directions: Take your best route to Highway 101 on the coast From the North - Follow highway 101 over the Alsea Bay bridge through Waldport. Event Details: We are meeting at Ancient Light@ 6:30 and will be driving a short distance from there. The start time for the ritual is 7pm, but the ritual proper won't start until 8 or so. That gives everyone time to meet and greet, set up and then ground so that we can work together. The door at the shop will be locked at 7, so meet us there by then!
We are celebrating the gifts of Stag and Hind at this ritual. Street clothes or robes are appropriate. You are welcome to bring your own magickal tools. We will have a potluck feast afterwards. Children are welcome. The incenses used will be special blends of mine, made from various herbs and resins. Let me know about allergies.
There is a possibility that if the weather permits we'll do the ritual on the beach and have a Maypole & all, but what are the chances in May? As the Goddess is dominant at Imbolc, so the God is at Lughnasadh, as Youth, Father & Sage or Warrior, Protector & Wise One.  Directions: From North or South on Highway 101 - We're in the south 1/3 of town, right on the highway. It's a white building with Hauser Gallery in the North side and us in the South. The sign reads "Ancient Light." I'm hoping to have some kind of a banner hanging out front and I always set out a candle lantern or so. The letters are on the post on the building's porch. Watch out for potholes in the parking lot! Parking is right in front and then around the north side of the building.
PSYCHIC FAIR
Ancient Light has a psychic fair each month. We're having a lot of fun, with classes, special guests, readers and just enjoying each others' company! There will be people to do readings during the day. (Most run about $20 for a 15-20 minute reading) and other activities. Saturday evenings we have a mediation and a class of some kind and then a get-together. April 4 is Sacred Paly and Costumes If you're interested in doing readings yourself or a taking class or would like a little more info, please e-mail. We should be done by 9 pm or so, and I'd like to be cleaned up and leaving by 10. There is a phone if you need to call someone to pick you up afterwards.
The ritual calls for juice in the chalice and breads. I'm not fanatic about people with allergies partaking, but let me know if you need something else for the "cakes and ale" part of the ritual. Bring fingerfoods if you want to contribute to the potluck.
