Event Details:
The ritual we will be doing is a combination of several different magickal paths, but the base structure of the ritual is standard Wiccan. Children are welcome.
The ritual is not at the shop. If you do not know how to get to Anja's, stop at the shop for directions, e-mail us or wait until the night of the ritual when someone will stay at the shop until 7pm (and a little change) to escort folks to the site.
We will be walking an outdoor labyrinth during the ritual, so bring outdoor things for the weather and good shoes/boots, but the ritual proper will be indoors. Part of the ritual will include walking the labyrinth (solo, so this will take a while) but those who aren't out walking will be sitting and singing, telling stories and having fun. If the weather is cold and wet, we'll have towels and hot chocolate or cider waiting as each person comes in. Please be aware of the weather and bring warm stuff for this! Street clothes or robes are otherwise appropriate since this is an open circle. You are welcome to bring your own magickal tools.
 We always have a fingerfood and take-with kind of a feast immediately after the ritual, but we'll probably going on until late in the night and maybe into early morning! If you're coming from a distance away, let us know. You might be able to stay over.
We won't be getting up and doing anything strenuous, but let me know if you're disabled in some way and need help. There are a couple of steps to get into the house and a gravel pathway to negotiate.
The incenses used will be special blends of mine that include frankincense, myrrh and several herbs. Let me know about allergies.
Ritual food – There will be no alcohol. We're not worried about people with allergies having to partake of the ritual foods, but let us know ahead of time and we'll see what we can manage. Another btw... we don't have alcohol at the Sabbat itself, because of Job Corps regulations for that group and because people have to drive. Blissed out from ritual *and* tipsy is a good way to meet the bottom of a cliff..... so that's all at the after-party. I'm pretty sure we're doing some spiced hard cider for that and other things usually show up.
 Directions: From North or South on Highway 101 - We're in the south 1/3 of town, right on the highway.
It's a white building with Hauser Gallery in the North side and us in the South. The sign reads "Ancient Light." I'm
hoping to have some kind of a banner hanging out front and I always set out a candle lantern or so. The letters
are on the post on the building's porch. Watch out for potholes in the parking lot! Parking is right in front and then
around the north side of the building.

Due to a lack of teachers' ability to travel (what with oil prices and the economy) we are regretfully going to have to cancel the 3rd Pan-Pagan Gathering that was supposed to happen September 25-27 2009.
But don't give up on us! We're fully intending to have a Gathering September 24-26 2010!
