Payment Options:

We can accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, certified bank checks or money orders, and gold doubloons. Gold doubloons are the prettiest. Paypal is the most secure, but whichever of these is preferable to you is fine with us. We would generally ask for Visa or MasterCard numbers to be given to us over the phone rather than via Internet, just to eliminate security concerns.

Shipping and handling:

We try to keep shipping and handling costs to a minimum, and usually ship via USPS unless you have some other preference. We charge $1.50 handling plus the actual shipping costs, because we aren't trying to turn our shipping department from a service into a stealth profit center. When you place your order with us, we will contact you back with availability, product pricing, and the requisite shipping and handling, and at that point will ask for confirmation of the order and make the appropriate payment arrangements. You will be dealing with one of us, not with a computer program that limits your options, or worse, that can be hacked.

No Shopping Cart?

We prefer to deal personally with our customers, and we are still small enough to manage this. This is one of the reasons we don't use a shopping cart on our site: we LIKE talking to our patrons. Another reason we don't use a cart is that we would rather avoid the necessity of your personal info drifting around the net in too convenient a form for identity thieves. The order you place with us goes directly into our computer at our sales counter, and nowhere else. Also, our inventory contains so many items that are either one-of-a-kind or of vacillating availability from our suppliers that we would be hard-pressed to keep it updated and still be able to give the kind of personal service that we prefer. Okay, I admit it, we're Luddites. Among other things.
